Program Description
This training explores how mental health professionals can effectively integrate self-disclosure and lived experience into their practice to support cancer survivors during the survivorship phase.

About the Presenter
Katlyn Armstrong is a 38 year old therapist and breast cancer survivor. She worked in the field with children and substance abuse prior to her diagnosis. After she completed chemotherapy and surgery she identified a lack of support of mental health in the breast cancer community. She works with individuals in cancer treatment and in survivorship, as well as co facilitates mental health and wellness retreats for young breast cancer survivors with The Boobie Queen Co.
