A Safe Space
I value creating a safe space within therapy, which allows clients to be vulnerable, build the therapeutic relationship, and connect with parts of themselves that carry emotional pain. Especially in my work as a play therapist, having a safe space allows children to play freely and express themselves without judgment.
Building Therapeutic Connections
Building therapeutic connections is meaningful to me, and I do so by working collaboratively with clients through the use of play therapy, EMDR, internal family systems therapy, etc.
