Program Description

This training aims to equip professionals with yoga therapy principles to improve both verbal and non-verbal communication in trauma-informed care. Participants will explore how yoga therapy can be utilized to establish a deeper connection with patients, facilitating a healing environment conducive to recovery and well-being.

Learning Objectives

  1. Define trauma-informed care and understand the role of yoga therapy in trauma-informed care, focusing on communication aspects.
  2. Apply principles of yoga therapy to enhance verbal and non-verbal communication with patients to create a supportive and co-creative space.
  3. Develop personalized strategies for integrating yoga therapy into nursing practice to support trauma recovery.

Through personalized mindfulness plans and transformative sessions, she reduces stress, increases energy levels, improves sleep, and empowers individuals to take charge of their overall well-being. Eva’s diverse range of modalities includes Adaptive Yoga Therapy, Reiki, and other mindfulness-based practices. With over two decades of medical experience, she brings extensive knowledge and expertise to her clients. Eva’s dedication extends beyond her practice, as she volunteers with adaptive cycling organizations and collaborates with addiction recovery organizations. In her free time, Eva enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and English Bulldog, exploring state and national parks.
