Today we are joined by Montana Meyer (she/her), MA, NCC, tLMHC, to take a look at the pros and cons of social media in relation to mental health.

• Positive aspects to social media
• Negative aspects to social media
• Filtering mental health information online

Montana is a Licensed Therapist with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University with a focus on the psychodynamic approach to therapy.  Montana works with an eclectic style to suit the needs of the individual, including psychodynamic, person-centered, and CBT modalities. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, and trauma with adolescents and adults. Montana believes every person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing and strives to create a safe in her work for individuals to be able to share that story and work collaboratively to reach their goals.
