Program Description

This training is presented by various providers at Heart and Solutions, LLC. Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) activities and interventions created and presented by Heart and Solutions BHIS Providers. These videos will show a variety of techniques and activities that can be used to work with children from the ages of four through eighteen years old in BHIS sessions to work toward improving behaviors.

Learning Objectives

1.) Learn to utilize hands-on activities to work with children on behavior-based treatment plan goals.

2.) Learn how to create activities that can be incorporated in sessions to work on a variety of behaviors, examples utilizing coping skills, identifying and expressing emotions appropriately, anger management skills, implementing stop and think to improve impulse control, etc.

3.) Learn to identify and create interventions to use with children with ADHD, ODD and other mental health diagnoses.
