Maggie has worked in the mental health field since 2010, and obtained her Master’s in Social Work through the University of Iowa in May 2023. Maggie strives to provide a supportive environment for therapy clients to work towards their current goals. Previously, Maggie has worked with clients dealing with chronic mental health disorders, grief/bereavement, attachment, difficult life transitions and trauma. She utilizes a variety of trauma-focused approaches to help each client achieve their goals, including techniques from motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Maggie is open to working with clients from all communities we serve in alignment with Heart and Solutions’ Commitment to Inclusion.
Maggie is especially passionate about working with the following communities and issues: Christian, Secular/Non-Religions, Nature Based Practices (Wiccan, Pagan, etc.), Body Positivity, Immuno-disorders, Veteran Allied
