Salina Wentz (she/her)

Therapist

LMSW

My mission is to offer compassionate, client-focused strengths-based therapy grounded in Trauma-Informed Care. I believe people are shaped by their experiences, not defined by their struggles. I believe that Healing happens through safety, empathy, and connection. With over 20 years of advocacy for marginalized communities – particularly within the LGBTQIA+ community – alongside with experience as an adjunct educator for students learning the Social Sciences, and working in the Child Welfare System; I bring a deeply informed and affirming approach to therapy. As a Humanist, I value each person’s inherent worth and capacity for growth. We are all worthy. We can all make a change. You have goodness in your heart. My vision is to support positive well-being through cognitive growth and healing, helping clients build lives that feel meaningful and whole.

Heart 100x100Meet Salina

Outside of work, I value my time with my close family, friends and pets. I enjoy painting and writing poetry as creative outlets and truly feel that laughter is the best medicine! Anything that makes me laugh is always welcome! These things help keep me grounded, curious and connected; and they inform the authenticity and warmth I bring into my work with others.
