Emily Fobian graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with her Bachelors in Social Work in 2021. During her education, she completed an internship in domestic and sexual assault advocacy at ACCESS. During her internship, she led group therapy sessions with young adults in group home settings discussing healthy communication and healthy relationships. After graduation, Emily has worked in care facilities planning and conducting fun and beneficial activities for residents, helping with daily tasks, coordinating events, and completing assessments of residents’ well-being. During college, Emily worked as a gymnastics coach for children ages 2-12 at Ruby’s Gymnastics Academy and loved incorporating learning with activities. Emily is excited to develop genuine connections with her clients and work to build a safe space for clients to become the best they can be. She strives to develop strong communication skills and create strong bonds within families to help them reach their goals. Emily is very excited to start her journey at Heart and Solutions!
