I graduated from Buena Vista University with a B.A. in Psychology. I am working on a Master’s degree at Buena Vista University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. I am completing an internship with the Clinical Director, Colleen, and host supervisor, Tami. Life can be challenging. I believe everyone has unique strengths that can assist them with life’s challenges; my goal is to help clients rediscover and rebuild trust in themselves and those strengths and utilize them as they navigates life’s challenges. I am honored to have an opportunity to join others on their journey to healing, growth, and goal attainment. I believe that clients are the experts in their lives, and based on that belief, I view my role as being a guide and cheerleader for clients throughout their counseling journey; I feel it is essential to develop a collaborative, genuine, and respectful relationship to allow for the healing, growth, and goal fulfillment. I strive to create a warm, calm, safe, and inclusive environment, utilizing a holistic and integrative approach.
