Program Description:

This course will explore the nuances of adhering to your ethical code when you are a member of a small or niche community. Clinicians frequently struggle with managing conflicts of interest, dual relationships, or accessing community spaces when they are members of niche communities. This course is designed to help clinicians feel confident in managing these complex situations and interactions in a manner that feels authentic, minimizes client harm, and adheres to their ethical standards.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the common barriers of being a member of a niche community
  2. Gain confidence in their understanding of their ethical code of conduct
  3. Learn how to engage in niche communities without violating their code of conduct

About the Presenter

Jayden Aubryn is a Black, Indigenous, queer, nonbinary psychotherapist and personal trainer. They specialize in holistically healing complex trauma by integrating mental, physical, sexual, and spiritual health. They aim to make healing fun and accessible by using food, movement, music, and art.
