MS, tLMHC

Maria received her Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Concordia University Wisconsin. She has a temporary license as a Mental Health Counselor in the State of Iowa. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction, group therapy, couples counseling, relationship concerns, and other life experiences. She utilizes various eclectic therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy. Maria has worked with both adolescents and adults, and is eager to begin working with younger children as well. Maria enjoys spending leisure time with her husband and children, the family dog, her horse and she also enjoys weaving chair seats with rattan cane.
